We came for the desert. I've been visiting for 30 years. My parents would bring us to Biltmore, and we'd get to eat 2 desserts. They were always so delicious. Now I bring my son and we get every dessert. It's an amazing day. I highly recommend stopping by the cafe on your next visit. Delicious

We came to Biltmore House for our anniversary and decided to enjoy lunch at the Stable Cafe. We were not disappointed! A beautiful location and venue, with a clean interior. The chicken plate with potatoes and carrots was absolutely delectable. Dessert was good, not great. We had the red velvet cake. Our waitress was kind but not overly attentive. Overall, it was a very nice experience and I'd visit this restaurant again.

I’ve been to the Biltmore a few times since my parents are members, and on my most recent visit in March, we had lunch reservations at the Stable Cafe (my second time dining there). I ordered the Fire-Roasted Corn and Potato Chowder as an appetizer and the Beef Bourguignon as my entree. The beef was estate-braised in a cabernet sauce and served with winter vegetables, roasted garlic whipped mashed potatoes, crostini, and chives—it was incredibly filling and exactly the kind of warm, comforting meal I needed on a chilly, cloudy day in the low 50s. I also tried the lemon raspberry martini, which was super tasty! My dad enjoyed his season sangria as well. It seems like they change out their menu frequently as well to match the season. As always, the staff was extremely kind. Definitely worth checking out if you’re visiting the Biltmore.

We made a reservation and even with quite a line we were seated right on time. The folks in front of us weren’t seated until about 30 minutes later. So I would highly recommend using open table to reserve your table. This was a great option ...

A bit pricey, but considering it’s a Three course meal at the Biltmore.. it’s expected. Restaurant was originally the stable at Biltmore and has been converted into the Stable Cafe. Very clean and very well rustic decorated while leaving a lot of the original stall dividers. I loved the feel of it. We were seated promptly with no reservations and our server was great. My wife and I both ordered the filet mignon and I can easily say.. this was the best filet that I have ever had! Cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. So good! They also had Gluten Free options for my wife. Will definitely return when we go back to the Biltmore.

I love my favorite meal here. It is a sharable sized lunch barbecue sampler. The protein and vegetable are healthy when walking the grounds. The sauces are top notch mustard and a chef made impressive, creative sweet berry. The stables are pretty.

Beautiful former stable, friendly staff, and great food steps away from a neat experience at the Biltmore house. We are light and had the strawberry salad, chicken salad croissant, and corn chowder in our group so that we could try ALL of the desserts. The coconut cream pie was heaven, but I can’t say I recommend the red velvet cake. Honestly, I just didn’t taste anything that made it stand out. The lemon creme brulee was delightful.

Visiting from Texas and absolutely loved this place! Waitress was awesome and good fantastic. My son had the Meatloaf Sandwich lunch special and I had the “Carolina Smoked Springer Mountain Chicken “. Mine was fantastic. My son said his was good but not his Granny’s Meatloaf. He cleaned his plate. The atmosphere was wonderful
